Barcelona chief Joan Laporta insists Arsenal will 'give in' in Cesc Fabregas saga

Outgoing Barcelona president Joan Laporta has declared that Arsenal "will finally give in" in their attempts to keep captain Cesc Fabregas in North London, but he admits he doesn't know when.

Laporta is keen to secure the return of Fabregas to Camp Nou prior to the conclusion of his seven-year term as president, but he has conceded that it is now unlikely to happen before he hands over the reins to
Sandro Rosell on July 1.

"It's hard to sign Cesc before June 30 because Arsenal has a fixed position and it's difficult to change this position in a few days," he told Barcelona's official website
www.fcbarcelona.com.

"If not us, then it falls to the incoming directors, if they see fit, to continue on this path.

"Arsenal will finally give in, but I do not know when it will, therefore, we have to wait and let the professionals in charge do their work."
